When to Order Personalised Christmas Decorations in Australia
The short answer: order by Friday 11 December 2026.
That gives us time to engrave your piece and get it into the post with room to spare. If you're reading this in late November, you have plenty of time.
Why personalised takes longer than off the shelf
A decoration with a name on it isn't picked off a shelf. Every piece is designed and laser cut here in Geelong, by the same small team of mums who make everything else we sell. Your words are cut into the wood after you order, not before.
That's the whole appeal of a keepsake — and it's also why the timeline is different from ordering something mass-produced. There is no warehouse of decorations that already say Ella's First Christmas. Yours gets made because you asked for it.

What Australia Post adds on top
Once your decoration leaves us, the timeline stops being ours. December is Australia Post's busiest month of the year, and delivery estimates stretch — particularly to regional addresses and across state lines.
The 11 December cut-off already builds buffer in for this. It isn't the last day we could make something; it's the last day we're confident a parcel posted from Geelong lands under a tree somewhere else in the country before Christmas morning.
Australia Post publishes its own Christmas cut-off dates each year. Ours sits earlier than theirs on purpose, because a personalised piece has to be made before it can be posted.
