Restaurant Travel Bag

Restaurant Travel Bag

For cafés and restaurants

Restaurant tables are not clean. Every parent knows it — you watch the table get wiped with the cloth that just did the one before yours, and then you watch your baby put a piece of bread straight down on it.

This is the kit that fixes that, and the other problem that comes with eating out: cutting a meal into baby-sized pieces with a blunt restaurant knife while everyone else's food goes cold.

What's in the bag

A food-grade silicone placemat that lies flat and gives your baby a clean surface to eat off.
A pair of kitchen shears that cut through anything on the plate in seconds.
A zip-up bag that holds both and fits in your nappy bag.

How it works

Lay the placemat on the table. Cut the food onto it. When your baby's finished, wipe it with a napkin, roll it up and zip it back in the bag. At home it rinses in warm soapy water, or goes on the top rack of the dishwasher.
