Faux Leather Dummy Chain – Personalised Dummy Clips

Our hand-braided faux leather dummy chain keeps your baby's dummy clean and within reach. Finally — no more dropped dummy.

Made for newborns to 6 months. At 0.7cm wide this is the narrowest strap we braid, and at 10 grams it's light enough that it won't pull the dummy from your baby's mouth. For older babies, and for any baby who has started dribbling, our cotton and beaded chains are the better choice.

Choose to etch your baby's name onto the wooden clip, leave it plain, or pick one of our sweet designs. Sixteen colours, from ivory and caramel through to pinks and blues, and every one can be matched to a BIBS dummy — email us if you'd like help pairing colours.

What it's made from

Each chain is hand braided from soft faux leather, 0.7cm wide and 19cm long. The material stretches by a couple of centimetres with use, and that stretch is counted inside the 22cm maximum length it was safety tested at.

The clip is strong stainless steel with plastic teeth, so it grips clothing without damaging it. Metal components are imported from Germany. The wooden top is flat and smooth so we can laser etch your baby's name — left raw, with no paint or varnish, to keep it natural and chemical free.

The whole dummy holder weighs 10 grams. About the same as two grapes.

Our Little Helpers began in 2015, when Susan — a nurse on maternity leave — made a dummy clip for her son Ollie because everything she could buy was too bulky. A small team of mums still makes every chain by hand here in Victoria, Australia.

We don't buy in ready-made chains. We use only the highest quality materials.

Safety

Our completed dummy chains have been independently laboratory tested and certified as passing EN 12586:2007 + A1:2011, Child use and care articles — soother holder, the standard recommended by the Australian and European competition and consumer commissions.

Designed and made from scratch in Victoria, Australia. Our clip design is registered.

Care

These faux leather dummy chains are for newborns to 6 months only.

Please do not wet this chain. The faux leather and the braid wear and tear more quickly once wet with saliva or water. If it does get wet, unclip it and let it dry fully before using it again.
