Petite Bead Dummy Chain – Personalised Dummy Clips

Small untreated beech wood beads, threaded on strong nylon cord with coloured accent beads — grey with lilac, fuchsia with natural, navy with white, and twenty-seven more. Each bead is around 0.8cm.

Suitable for babies of all ages.

Every chain is finished with a varnished safety bead, which is what stops beads working loose over months of use. It's a small piece of construction most people never notice, and the reason a beaded chain can be safe at all.

At 15 grams it's a little more substantial than our cotton chains — about the weight of three grapes — and still light enough that it won't pull the dummy from your baby's mouth.

What it's made from

Untreated natural beech wood beads and coloured accent beads, roughly 0.8cm across, threaded on strong nylon cord and finished with a varnished safety bead.

The clip is strong stainless steel with plastic teeth so it grips clothing without damaging it. Metal components are imported from Germany. The wooden top is flat and smooth for laser etching and left as natural as possible.

Made here, by mums

Our Little Helpers started in 2015 with one dummy clip, made by Susan — a nurse — for her son Ollie. The business has been making them in Victoria, Australia ever since.

We don't buy in ready-made chains from anywhere. Every bead, cord and clip is of the highest quality and safety tested.

Safety

Our completed dummy chains have been independently laboratory tested and certified as passing EN 12586:2007 + A1:2011, Child use and care articles — soother holder, the standard recommended by the Australian and European competition and consumer commissions.

Our clip design is registered. Beaded chains get tested the same way everything else does — a 10kg weight hung from the chain, after 1,000 open-and-close cycles on the clip. You can read the whole testing process here, and Australian legislation and safety standards are here.

Care
