Petite Cotton Dummy Clips – Personalised Dummy Chains

The lightest dummy chain we make, and the one that fits every dummy you own.

At 1.2cm wide and 9 grams it's the slimmest and lightest cotton chain in our range. Light enough that it won't pull the dummy from your baby's mouth, and narrow enough to complement their outfit.

Choose your baby's name etched into the wooden clip, one of our designs, or leave it plain. Nine colours: blush, navy, beige, grey, black, white, khaki, mustard and sunshine yellow.

What it's made from

Hand sewn from 100% cotton, 1.2cm wide, finished with a strong nylon cord loop end.

The clip is strong stainless steel with plastic teeth, so it holds clothing firmly without ruining it. Metal components are imported from Germany. The wooden top is flat and smooth for laser etching, and left raw — no paint, no varnish, nothing to come off.

Nine grams. About the same as two grapes.

Why we make it this way

Susan started Our Little Helpers in 2015, after making a dummy clip for her son Ollie. She was a nurse, on maternity leave, and everything she could buy was too big and too heavy for a small baby.

Eleven years on, a team of mums still hand sews every chain in Victoria, Australia. The cotton, the cord and the German clip hardware are all high quality, because this is a product that sits on a baby all day.

Safety

Our completed dummy chains have been independently laboratory tested and certified as passing EN 12586:2007 + A1:2011, Child use and care articles — soother holder, the standard recommended by the Australian and European competition and consumer commissions.

Care

Cotton copes well with dribble, which makes this a good choice once your baby is teething. Please read our safety and care instructions before use, and check the chain and clip before every use.
