BIBS De Lux silicone dummies are a new and exclusive design take of the iconic BIBS dummy. It comes with an elegant hidden gathering in an enhanced matte finish for a Premium look.
The designers created the cherry-shaped nipple and matte lightweight shield to imitate the shape of a mother’s breast.
Midwives recommend natural breastfeeding where possible. BIBS De Lux’s shape and length support the baby to develop the right sucking technique to not cause confusion.
The round lightweight shield faces away from the baby’s face to facilitate a supply of air to the sensitive skin around baby’s mouth.
Recommended by midwifes to support natural breastfeeding.
Recommended for children aged 0-36 months.
The shield is made of 100 percent food safe polypropylene (PP). Completely free from BPA, PVC and phthalates.

Nipple information
The round nipple promotes a similar tongue placement and sucking technique when breastfeeding. Therefore, the round shape allows the sides of the tongue to elevate and cup around the nipple, just like it does during breastfeeding.
The nipple is equipped with a valve, letting out air when the baby closes down on the nipple. Thereby flattening the nipple to shape naturally after the baby’s oral cavity.
The nipple is produced from natural rubber latex. Since natural rubber latex is a natural material, colour variation may occur.

Shield information
The round lightweight shield faces away from the sensitive and delicate skin around the baby’s mouth. This ensures there is minimum contact with the baby’s nose and mouth. Less contact means less chance of moisture build-up from saliva that can cause rashes and sore spots.
The shield comes in one size no matter the nipple size.
Manufacturers use 100% food-safe material called polypropylene (PP) to make the shield.. Completely free from BPA, PVC and phthalates.

Australian standards: The mandatory standard requirements for babies’ dummies are based on certain sections of the voluntary Australian Standard AS 2432:2015 Standard for Babies’ Dummies and the voluntary European Standard EN 1400:2013+A1:2014
