Therefore, we can confidently say Our dummy clips as a whole and their individual components have passed all required European and Australian safety standards (DIN 12586:2007 + A1:2011). They are super durable and safe your your baby. As for the other brands… we’ll all I can suggest if you purchase a dummy clip anywhere else is, ask to see a recent copy of recent test results showing they have passed.

For Your Child’s Safety

WARNING!
Before each use check carefully. Throw away at the first sign of damage or weakness. Never lengthen the soother holder/dummy clip! Never attach to cords, laces ribbons, blankets or loose parts of clothing. The child may be strangled. Only attach soother holder to a garment. Supervise your child at all times when in use. Remove while child is sleeping. Not to be used when baby is in a cot, bed or crib. This is a soother / dummy holder, do not use as a toy or teether.

Wipe clean with a warm damp cloth only. Do not immerse in water. Never allow your child to chew or put this in their mouth.  Store out of reach of children. Discard after 6 months use.

Care Instructions:

Physically check the dummy chain and its clip before each individual use. Pull, twist and bend the dummy chain to ensure there is no sign of weakness, wear and tear or damage. Open and close the clip to ensure it still functions properly. Check there are no cracks in the wooden top or wooden beads on the chain.Check the plastic snaps on the cotton chain to ensure they are not loose or broken. Inspect the macrame and faux leather chains to ensure all braided components are intact and not worn.

Throw away at the first sign of damage or weakness.

Only clip your dummy clip onto thin materials that is of thickness such as the thickness of T-shirt material. Clipping it onto thicker materials like jumpers or the thicker edge of bibs etc will stretch the clamping mechanism and will make the clip loose and not function as intended and will require replacing much sooner. We will not replace any clips that have been used in this way and stretched, as they are not considered faulty, they have been misused.

This is not a teething toy and it should not be allowed to be chewed on or put in their mouth.

Baby dribble can cause the chains to become wet. Dribble, like water can cause it to wear and tear faster. In particular, if the faux leather chains become wet and use is continued, it can cause the faux leather to break down. If this occurs, please remove the dummy clip and allow it to dry before continuing to use it. Faux leather chains are best used on newborns only.

Babies who are dribbling are best to use our cotton or beaded products.  Remove the chain if your child continues to put it in their mouth. This is not a teething toy.

WARNING!

A torn or broken dummy poses a choking hazard. Always check the dummy carefully before each use. Pull the teat in all directions. Throw away at the first sign of damage or weakness. A cord or ribbon attached to a dummy poses a strangulation hazard. Only use dummy clips/chains that are independently laboratory tested to DIN EN 12586 safety standards.

This Dummy complies with consumer Goods (Babies Dummies) Safety Standards 2017 and European Safety Standards EN 1400.

Squeeze any excess water out of the teat. Clean and sterilize the dummy each day or more often if required. Avoid using microwave, dishwasher, chemical or machine sterilizers as this may damage the teat.

If the baby has put the dummy too far in their mouth, gently remove it. The three holes on the dummy shield ensure the child will not suffocate.

Cushion Covers:

Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle setting. Avoid harsh spot-scrubbing, and use a phosphate-free detergent for longer color life. Tumble dry on a low temperature or permanent press setting.

Silicone Place mats:

FDA grade silicone is highly resistant to staining. In order to avoid temporary discoloration, wash immediately after use. To clean, simply rinse with warm soapy water or place in the top rack of the dishwasher. If you do notice staining, continue using and washing for a few days. Typically the discoloration completely disappears on its own.

Pro Tip: We recommend putting the place mat back on the tray while wet then letting it air dry before the next meal. This trick gives it a little extra stick!
